• Content you create in the app, including journal entries, prayer requests, comments, likes, playlists, favorites, and devotional progress.
• Reminder settings you create, including alarm time, repeat days, selected song, and whether reminders are enabled.
• Device and app details needed to deliver reminders, such as notification permission status, exact alarm permission status, and locally cached alarm audio files on your device.

How we use information

• To create and secure your account.
• To deliver your devotional experience, including reading progress, worship preferences, journals, and saved content.
• To schedule and play devotional reminders you set yourself.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the AKOKO service.

Sharing

AKOKO does not sell your personal data. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, store, secure, and deliver the app on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account remains active so the app can provide your devotional history and preferences. If you delete your account, AKOKO removes your account and related devotional data from the live service, including reminders, journals, playlists, favorites, comments, prayer requests, and progress records. Limited backup retention may continue for a short period before those backups rotate out.

Your choices

• You can update your profile, timezone, and worship preferences inside the app.
• You can manage or disable devotional reminders from the reminders screen and your device settings.
• You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app, or review instructions on the account deletion page.
